Alexandre Brussilovsky, violin, completed his musical education at the Moscow Conservatoire under Yuri Yankelevich, Maya Glezarova, Felix Andrievsky, and Leonid Kogan. He is the winner of grand prizes at several international competitions, including the Grand Prix at the International Prague Competition in 1969, and the Grand Prix and Albert Roussel Special Prize at the Jacques Thibaud Competition in 1975. An international soloist, Brussilovsky has been invited to give master classes in Bloomington (Indiana University) and the Summer Academies in Geneva, Nice and New York. He has played with renowned artists, including Yehudi Menuhin, Neeme Jarvi, Emmanuel Krivine, Misha Maisky, Gary Hoffman, Eduard Brunner, Francoise Pollet, Natalia Gutman, Boris Berezovsky, the Lindsays and Fine Arts Quartets. Brussilovsky is the artistic director of the Suoni e Colori recording label and of chamber music festivals Les MusiCimes in Courchevel (France) and the Moscow "Pont Alexandre III" French music festival.
